Coin Mechanisms & Gamesman release the Programmable Player Interface (PPI) featuring a Patented Application of OLED Technology

Coin Mechanisms Inc and Gamesman Ltd introduce a new generation of player interface panel for slot machines.  The D2BP-1 panel is a revolutionary design that permits the programming of legends, graphics, and animated video into a familiar pushbutton form factor.  Legends and special game features can be presented in any language.  Special features can be downloaded from a central determinant server or the host machine memory to add flexibility and excitement to game content.  The D2BP-1 is available with standard interface options that include USB and RS232.  This patented application of OLED technology utilizes a high resolution OLED display and robust single cable machine connection.  Four standard display sizes are available:  1.1", 1.6", 1.5" (color), and 2.7", all measured on the diagonal.  A single backplane with master bus will be featured.  A hub-style system is also available.  The backplane with master bus can control standard fixed legend buttons, programmable buttons and auxiliary displays.  Select feature buttons, such as the Gamesman branded Fireball Button, will be made available with a color programmable OLED display.  As central determinant and downloadable game content emerges as a staple on the casino floor, the D2BP-1 player interface can provide the critical connection between the server, the game, and the player.  The D2BP-1 will be featured as an interactive display in the Coin Mechanisms stand at the G2E.  See the future of not only the player interface, but also playfield design and attract lighting in Booth 3777.  Imagine it!
